How to get there

The start and the main car park is approximately one mile south of Dalbeattie on the Solway Cost Road, the A710 (SO Explorer 313 Ref. 836592). Parking is also available at the Town Wood car park just outside of town and on the access road to Wilson Forestry Equipment which is directly opposite the Town Wood entrance.
